Our Story

It’s easy to look at our dealerships today and see why we’ve been so successful; however, to truly understand how far we’ve come, it’s important to look back at where it all began. It all started in September 1959, when Jim Weston was first hired on as a sales trainee at the Pontiac-GMC dealer in Oregon City. During his 14 years at that dealership, Jim Weston was not only promoted several times, but he also learned everything he needed to know about the car business in order to later start his own dealership. 

Finally, with help and prayers from his friends and family, Jim Weston, his wife Sharon, and three children, Jay, Jan, and Jeni, became owners of Weston Pontiac GMC in Gresham on February 1st, 1975. During those 50 years, the dealership has added new members to its family and has grown exponentially into the legacy you see today!
